SBI Virtual Debit Cards

The State Bank Virtual Card, also known as the Electronic Card or e-Card, is a debit card with predefined spending limitations created exclusively for e-commerce transactions. 

It provides a convenient and safe way to perform online transactions without disclosing your primary card or account information to the retailer.

You can use virtual debit cards at all online platform that accepts MasterCard or Visa and function identically to regular debit cards.

State Bank Global International Debit Cards

This SBI Global International Debit Card allows you to withdraw cash anywhere in the world.

To provide additional security, the card contains an EMV chip. Customers using this debit card can earn twice as many reward points on three consecutive transactions every three months. 

They can also enjoy cashless shopping and earn unlimited Freedom Rewards points on all debit card purchases.

  • The PIN will not be requested if the NFC is enabled. The card is used at NFC terminals for transactions up to ₹5000/-.

State Bank Gold International Debit Card

SBI Gold International debit cards give users a very high transaction limit of Rs 2 lakhs daily. It allows optimum flexibility in both POS and online transactions. 

Cardholders receive free life insurance coverage of up to Rs 2 lakh. The card also includes Rs 5,000 in theft or damage protection insurance for 90 days after you receive it.

  • Shopping is allowed at over 30 million merchant locations worldwide.
  • Cash can be withdrawn internationally.
  • It is possible to carry out secure e-commerce and online purchasing transactions.

  • The age requirement for applicants is between 21 and 60 years old.
  • Should be an Indian resident or NRE. 
  • Both single accounts and joint accounts can apply for this debit card
  • Should submit KYC documents.  

SBI Platinum International Debit Card

SBI Platinum users can use the SBI Platinum debit card to buy goods, book cinema tickets, pay utility bills, and conduct online activities. The card is also designed for worldwide use. 

Customers can earn up to three times their reward points for consecutive transactions. Cardholders also receive complimentary life insurance of Rs 5 lakhs for 90 days after receiving their card.

  • You will receive 2 State Bank Rewardz points for every Rs.200 spent on your debit card.
  • Reward points collected throughout the Birthday month will be counted as double.
  • The SBI Platinum Debit Card is compatible with RuPay, VISA, and MasterCard.

Eligibility 

  • Indians and NRE can apply for an SBI Platinum International Debit Card.
  • You should be a SBI bank customer to apply for this debit card. 
  • You should hold a Savings, Current, Super Saver, Loan Against Shares (LAS), or salary account with SBI.

SBI IOCL Co-Branded Contactless RuPay Debit Card

The SBI IOCL Co-Branded RuPay Debit Card is a contactless card that can be issued to all existing and new SBI customers. It has been designed to earn additional Reward Points at all IOCL retail shops and includes an EMV chip. 

The card is available in two variants: “Global” and “Platinum.” They are named Rupay SBI IOCL Global and Rupay SBI IOCL Platinum. 

As the name suggests, the IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.) cards provide rewards on every fuel transaction that you do at IOCL outlets.

Features

  • Cards accept contactless payments for transactions of up to Rs. 5,000. 
  • Use the card internationally for shopping, cash withdrawals, or POS.
  • For every Rs. 200 transaction at IOCL, you will earn 6 reward points, and on other POS or E-commerce outlets, you will earn 2 reward points.

Eligibility 

To be eligible for an SBI IOCL Co-Branded Contactless RuPay Debit Card, you must be an existing or new SBI customer with an account at SBI.

SBI Mumbai Metro Combo card

SBI has introduced this card for its clients who frequently use the Mumbai Metro to commute. The debit card also serves as an access card for the Mumbai Metro, providing various benefits. 

The card saves cardholders a lot of time because they don’t have to wait in ticket lineups at Mumbai Metro stations. Customers can also use a debit card to pay bills, shop online, and withdraw cash.

  • You can enjoy a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs. 40,000 and a daily POS limit of Rs. 75,000.
